Super Bowl Sunday!

My first week as a hobo was great. I was out just about every night this week either to dinner or drinks. Meg & Tom have taken me to some great places. At Sycamore Brew www.sycamorebrew.com we enjoyed the outdoor live music and food trucks (awesome BBQ)! Tonight we’re going to a bar to see the big game! www.edstavern.com

Deanna & Cynthia came to Dilworth one night to meet Meg and I for dinner … I love it when my different groups of friends meet and connect! www.300east.net

This week I was in a Vrbo apartment in the Historic Dilworth section of Charlotte. History | dilworthonline It’s such a pretty neighborhood with beautiful old houses. I took advantage of the ‘better than NJ’ weather this week and went out for walks almost every day. This morning I walked over to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for mass. They do things old school there, with kneelers at the alter for communion. Definitely a new experience for me, but nice. Saturday the sun came out and the temperature shot up to 70 degrees for the first time since I arrived. Deanna and I took full advantage of the beautiful day. She took me all over … we started the day off with Yoga at Lenny Boy Brewing and then enjoyed a complimentary glass of Kombucha. www.discoverlennyboy.com/yoga.html We had a nice outdoor lunch at Camp North End - Camp North End and then vegan gelato (it was soooo good) at Home - Optimist Hall

Tomorrow after work I’ll be leaving Dilworth for an AirBnB in Denver, near Michelle and Danielle. Can’t wait to see them!
